Current Updates and Livestream

Upon launching, the "Current Updates" section displays background information on relevant topics. During Federal Council sessions, this section also features a video livestream from the plenary chamber.

The "Schedules" feature includes agendas for upcoming committee meetings as well as additional dates related to the Federal Council and its President.

The "Videos" section presents current reports on events, interviews, and short films about the Federal Council.

All About the Plenary

The "Federal Council COMPACT" area efficiently guides users to essential information regarding plenary sessions. Here, you will find previews and summaries of current sessions, explanations of content, committee recommendations, and resolutions on key agenda items (TOPs). Users can view confirmed speakers and access debates shortly after they occur in the plenary as videos.

In the "Agenda," comprehensive details about each TOP, including documents, are available. Users can retrieve both numerical and chronological orders of the TOPs, indicating the sequence in which they will be addressed during the session.

The "Speech List" outlines the announced speeches and their order for the current plenary session.

The "Session Dates" feature displays the Federal Council's session calendar.

Who is in the Federal Council?

The "Countries" section summarizes key facts about the 16 countries represented in the Federal Council and lists their members.

The "Members A-Z" section presents Federal Council members in alphabetical order, detailing their roles, biographies, contact information, and social media links.

The "Vote Distribution" presents a graphic illustrating the current composition of the Federal Council by country and party affiliation of state governments.

The "Presidium" section introduces the Presidents and the Permanent Advisory Board of the Federal Council. An animation showcases the annual 2-euro commemorative coins from each President's country.

Building Views

Videos and 360-degree recordings in the "Building" section provide a glimpse into the historical Herrenhaus building, featuring various interior and exterior views of the plenary chamber.

Social Media and Services

Additional sections offer quick access to the Federal Council's social media channels and provide information regarding visiting and contact opportunities.
